SYNOPSIS
After a brilliant career as a fencer, Paolo works as sport journalist in a small journal. Franz, a friend of his, dies of an heart attack. He was a former fence champion like him, and he had become entrepreneur, as many others in that rich province in the North.
By accident, Paolo realises that the life of his departed friend was not so clear as he thought. His death, too, seems to conceal a secret. The search for truth becomes for Paolo an intrusion in a distant world, the one of rich tanning industrialists. It is a dirty but fascinating environment, the occasion for unusual encounters such as the one with rich Giordano’s children: Chiara, the young reckless daugther; little Leo, suffering from autism. It will be the latter to help Paolo to shed a light upon the life of his friend Franz and the circumstances of his death.
