Prize as Best European Actor (SNCGI Prize)
Reason:
The National Syndicate of Italian Cinematographic Journalists (SNGCI)chaired by Laura Delli Colli, has awarded ex aequo the Prize as Best European Actor to Maria De Mereidos and Antonia Liskova, both protagonists of the Italian film in competition Riparo by Marco Simon Puccioni.
To De Medeiros for the quality of her interpretation which well portrays the drama of a diversity delicately and powerfully expressed. To Liskova for her outlining of a still troubled femininity in search of a full authenticity.
FIPRESCI Award

For the capacity of telling in a tragic, ironic way the sorrows and perversions of a family, through the eyes of an adolescent.
