The Protagonists of Italian Cinema: Michele Placido

 

A cinematographic, human study of an important Italian actor which will attend the tribute, realised in collaboration with the Experimental Centre of Cinematography dedicated to a symbolic figure of the Italian cinema.

In the previous editions it has been dedicated to Ugo Tognazzi, Giancarlo Giannini, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Virna Lisi, Lucia Bosè and Valeria Golino.

This year the protagonist of our cinema is Michele Placido. Some film of the actror - who will attend the Festival in Lecce- will be shown in collaboration wiht the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia - Cineteca Nazionale as well as a gallery of pictures in an exhibition. A book wiil be published, edited by Massimo Causo and Alberto La Monica.
